The Kingsdon Inn is the perfect setting for a weekend or holiday touring local attractions in the area as we are just off the A303 and only half an hour from the M5. This makes the Kingsdon the ideal base for visiting places like the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton' the Bath & West Show Ground, East Somerset Railway, Haynes Car Museum, Longleat House, National Trust houses and gardens, and many more.

We are also close to the beautiful scenery surrounding the Mendip Hills and only 7 miles from Yeovil. Taunton is 25 miles and we’re 50 miles from Exeter. Street and Glastonbury are 20 minutes drive. There are a number of good schools locally including Millfield School in Street with its own Riding School. The south coast is also easily reachable with Lyme Regis 30 miles away and other places like Lulworth and the Bovington Tank Museum close by.
